ROAD CHARGING MUST BE STOPPED
I gave the opening speech in the debate in Westminster Hall on 26th June 2023 explaining why these schemes kill enterprise and are bad for all. We need a win win not a lose lose.
They are a Labour policy. We all need to remember that when the elections come.
ULEZ? Never.
CAZ? Never.
No, no, no. We must resist these at all costs. They don’t create clean air. They are a device to extract money from you. They deter enterprise and are simply bad in every respect.
I lay out in my speech some simple steps that local councils like Doncaster can take to revitalise their town centres.
