I was pleased to speak at today's opposition day debate "Investing in children and young people".
Over the past year and a half, the opposition has used its allotted days to spread misinformation about the government and its policies.
Yet I believe that across the country, and especially in Don Valley, people are tired of Labour's narrative which repeatedly and needlessly does our country down.
After all, with this One Nation Conservative government committed to ensuring that schools and pupils get all the help and support they need, no child should be left behind.
Furthermore, politicians like myself should also encourage children and young people to have the right attitude, so they can follow their dreams and help change their communities for the better.
