DERELICT BUILDINGS & EYESORES
Derelict buildings are an eyesore and blight our neighbourhoods. I don’t want any in my constituency.
Empty buildings left to rot become derelict over time. They are often a magnet for antisocial behaviour and crime. Again I don’t want any properties such as this that lay empty for years. We all know of such.
I have asked Doncaster Council for a copy of their register of derelict and empty buildings. They tell me that there is no such list. We need one. I have raised this in Parliament. I spoke of Tyram Hall in Blaxton, the Old Police Station in Conisbrough and the derelict and empty houses in Princes Crescent in Edlington.
