ACHIEVEMENTS AS YOUR MP

I am often asked “Nick, what have you achieved as an MP?”

I thought it might be helpful to list some of the main achievements here. I have not listed them in any particular order but the first one is definitely head of the pack. We have to be taken seriously and how can that be so if we don’t bang our drum? So aside from getting the airport reopened, putting Doncaster on the map is what I am most proud of achieving.

AIRPORT.

Campaigning successfully to get the airport open. 125 year Lease signed for the airport in March 2024. No operator yet. Much more needs to be done.

17000 people as at March 2024 helped through my case work due to excellent office staff

THORNE LEISURE CENTRE.

Tackling the delay and pressing to get it opened. Finally getting swimming pool opened after 13 months delay. Gym, cafe and bowling alley still undelivered by the Labour Council. A further year’s delay.
