I would just like to thank Polypipe Building Products for all the fantastic work they have done during the COVID-19 pandemic!
During this time of national crisis, the Doncaster based firm has delivered half a tonne of polypropylene to students at Bradfield Technology College, who have produced 12,000 visors for health care workers so far. This is an excellent example of a Doncaster firm and our young people teaming up to help support our fantastic doctors, nurses and cares.
A division of Polypipe Group has also developed PPE face visors to support our front-line health workers. Equally, I have been told that Polypipe Building Products recently made their first delivery of 600 visors to Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals Foundation, and more are yet to come. As we all know, PPE has been a major issue throughout this pandemic and so it is incredibly heartening to see a local business help our local hospital.
During this pandemic, I have been amazed by the work that has been carried out by businesses and people in Don Valley. I believe it shows the very best of our constituency and I have been truly humbled to represent this great area.
